Meet Remmy's Team
Remmy
Remmington P. Squirrel Nut Zipper, known to his pals as "Remmy," is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi who came to his human family exactly as the story goes in his first book, Remmy Gets A New Home. Remmy is an avid soccer player and notorious pizza thief, who also steals hearts wherever he goes!
Bapa
Carolyn Reis Myers McCormick goes by Bapa with her favorite crowd and decided to use her Grandma name for the Remmy series....It just seemed right since they were the very first fans of the prototype!
Carolyn is a veteran teacher, actress and spokesperson who makes her home in Dallas, Texas. She would love to come to where you are and read books, any books! to your group.
Ellen Sabin
For twenty years Ellen operated a portrait studio in Dallas, Texas, where she photographed children and families. Starting with medium-format film and later in digital SLR, her work hangs in the homes of many loyal clients.
Ellen finds beauty and interest in the everyday. The breadth of her current work encompasses daily life, social issues and travel.
Born in Quincy, Illinois, she holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Truman State University. When not out exploring, Ellen calls Raleigh, N.C. home.
Gabriela Pataro
Gaby knew Remmy and is thrilled to translate Remmy's stories! She was born in Mexico City, so Spanish is her first language.
Gaby owned and operated three different restaurants in a period of 28 years in Dallas. Her last restaurant was the first in the state of Texas
to have a Dog Patio Permit, #001. This introduced her to pet rescue groups.
After retirement, Gaby became involved in rescuing and re-homing hundreds of dogs and cats, realizing that helping pets helps people.
She enjoys teaching people, children especially, about appropriate pet care and the many careers connected to this, and hopes that some day all pets will have loving and caring homes.

Tito
Roberto Morales, known as Tito by his family is a designer and illustrator in Dallas, Texas. He started freelancing full time in 2019, taking on all kinds of projects like designing T-shirts and animating a music video. Tito likes to travel and draw funny pictures. He is excited to bring Remmy to life for years to come.
